The tagline can be: Italian-Americans are usually portrayed as dark "Godfather-esque" figures who lurk in the back rooms of restaurants and plot (over checkered tablecloths and spaghetti lunches) the intricacies of a "mob" that is geared to control New York, Chicago, Miami, etc. When Most American's think Italian-American, they think of Capone, Genovese, Anastasia, Cuomo, Rocky, Pacino in The Godfather, The Gangs of New York, etc., etc.
What if we were to make a film proving that an historically genuine Italian American was not a mafioso, but an important American patriot, a "Founding Father", an architect of the Declaration of Independence and of the Revolutionary War, influential in shaping many of the moral and democratic values that are at the very backbone of the American Dream and its Reality....
